Logo Design

A collection of logo designs ranging from mental health campaigning to building.

I believe that the logo is an important element to give any brand their customers a representation of the brand's vision!

MindShift Self Help Resource Cardset

MindShift was a brand designed as a group to help promote mental health resources at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Within this group project we all contributed artefacts to support the brand, I created a set of cards to better ones self throughout the struggles that arise during university.

The cards contain five categories, Mindfulness, Health & Exercise, Affirmations, Sleep and Reminders. This card pack for students allow easy access to self-help resources in a more personal experience.

Need A Hand - Publication Design

A publication containing all the guidance needed for young designers to find ideas including the preparation, development and critique of the design process. ‘Need A Hand’, as the title, uses the expression when someone asks if they need help which is the premise of this book giving the reader ‘a hand’ with ideation.

The tone for this publication is a casual but informative approach to the reader to play alongside the playful design.

Marama

‘Marama’ was created to allow people who were struggling with their own journey of finding identity, to feel reassured through another's story. Creating a piece particularly for Māori in the hopes of inspiring them to embrace their whakapapa, despite the colour of their skin. Identity is a large aspect of life, giving purpose to one's being, so, was the intended theme behind the publication. This contemporary publication features detailed pattern work alongside the poetry of the designer’s journey to identity. Explaining stories from childhood to an adult, it explores the issues surrounding being a ‘white Māori’ and wanting to reconnect with whakapapa. With minimal colour and typefaces, the patterns are able to engage the reader to continue through the publication, ending with a found Māori identity of the designer.

Awarded the Toi Maia Award from the AD21 Awards

Mend - Mental Health Campaign Design

Mend is a mental health awareness campaign encouraging people to speak up about their mental health issues through learning more in-depth information about what they might be struggling with. This was influenced by the upcoming New Zealand mental health week in 2019 which allowed me to get more specific with what and who I was designing for.

Designs include an Application Design, Gif, Sticker sets, Poster and Web Design.

NO.8 String

No.8 String is a brand for hands-on kiwis, a unique personality that will always try to do something themselves before requiring the help of others.

This group project was to challenge ourselves as designers to rebrand the simplest of things like string to a specific target audience.

Designs include a Pomotional Poster Series, String Packaging Design and Brand Guidelines Book.
